I would be happy to organize a cooking class for you. Below you’ll find a first set of information about my lessons, the menu and my approach to Italy’s seasonal food and cooking.

THE LOCATION

My cooking classes take place at our family’s home. We’re in the countryside and our house has a marvelous view over the Tuscan hills and the surrounding Brunello vineyards. Our home can be easily reached from Montalcino’s town center (2 min. by car or 10 min. by foot)

THE COOKING CLASS

  • Your private cooking class is based on local and seasonal ingredients and will be tailor-made to your food preferences (please let me know about special diet requirements).

  • The cooking class is hands-on - I’ll provide aprons and all the needed tools.

  • I love to teach recipes that you can easily repeat at home. Many of them will make for a great surprise during a dinner party with family or friends

  • Food is always a child of its environment. We won’t just talk about Tuscan or Italian cooking but also about its history and connection and local farming techniques and culture

  • I use organic and local ingredients from small sustainable farms wherever possible

LUNCH/DINNER AFTER THE CLASS

  • During the class we’ll prepare a typical italian meal that you’ll be able to enjoy during a relaxed lunch/dinner at my home

  • The cooking classes and meals are accompanied by local wines

  • The cooking classes start a 11 am lasts for ca. three hours with lunch ending at  3 pm. and start at 4.30 pm  with dinner ending at 8.30 pm

PRICES AND BOOKING

Prices include the cooking class, wine and lunch or dinner.

  • 1 person 400 €

  • 2 people: 200 € per person.

  • 3 to 4 people: 170€ per person.

  • 5 to 6 people: 150€ per person

  • 7 to 8 people: 140€ per person

  • 9 to 10 people: 130€ per person

  • For bigger groups, please ask for a quote


Once your booking and date have been confirmed we can put together the menu (as said above seasonal ingredients are my A and O, but I’m very happy to customize it according to your requests).

CANCELLATION

Free cancellation up to 14 days before, 50% from 13 to 7 days before, 100% from 6 to 0 or no show
